Our take on Killers and Thieves
Guild management adds financial pressure to the heist structure: wages continue to matter between operations, so attention is divided between choosing risky targets and keeping the treasury funded for payday.
What is Killers and Thieves?
Manage a medieval thieves’ guild in Greypool.
Recruit burglars, thieves, and cutthroats, then develop them for different tasks, such as burglary, lockpicking, or assassination. Choose a crew for each operation, since no team can cover every need. Missions may involve scouting targets, stealing valuable goods, or killing designated targets. Plans can be disrupted by unexpected events, requiring new decisions during an operation. Set the level of danger for each job: safer choices offer less risk, while bolder attempts promise greater riches and may lead to the hangman’s noose. Follow story-driven missions or select valuable targets across the open city. The guild also requires financial management, because wages must be paid and an empty treasury at payday can cause trouble.
