Our take on Kid Hallow
Costumes are the central mechanic: changing outfits shifts how a level’s enemies and obstacles can be handled.
What is Kid Hallow?
Kid Hallow is a precision platformer where costumes change how players handle monsters and level challenges.
Their abilities span action and puzzle-solving, while collecting Candy Corn provides another objective. Difficulty varies with the level: player-made stages can be demanding or less challenging. A level editor lets players build challenges and share them online, where others can rate and compete on community-created levels. The game also includes costumes, enemies, and objects from the Winter, Dumb, and Fantasy packs. Updated from its 2008 release as Costume Party, the 2021 version adds interactive tiles and visual effects, along with changes to some costume abilities.
