Our take on Ken ga Kimi
Instead of using ordinary selections throughout, the sequel introduces four tracked attributes that divide outcomes into Ken and Kimi paths. The story also replaces a single conclusion with four endings for each main character, followed by a separate epilogue.
What is Ken ga Kimi?
Set in 1633, this visual novel follows Kayo, the daughter of an Edo food and tea house, after she agrees to disguise herself as a princess and join a false bridal procession across Tōkaidō.
The story has two parts: False Bridal Procession in Tōkaidō and Sword Retrieving Imperial Match. Choices advance the storyline and affect its endings. In the sequel, Magatama Selection tracks courage, wisdom, love, and friendship. Different states of these four attributes divide the story into Ken and Kimi endings. Each of the six main characters has four endings, and every ending unlocks an epilogue. Added content includes a date scene, new CGs, opening and ending songs, voiced fortune readings, and additional character voice lines.
