Our take on Jump Stars
Rather than keeping cooperation and competition separate, the game makes both part of the same round. Team scoring opens the route forward, while the closing contest turns teammates into targets, replacing the usual fixed co-op or versus structure with a deliberate betrayal cycle.
What is Jump Stars?
Jump Stars is a local party game for two to four players that combines shared objectives with direct competition.
Participants work together to build a team score, then attack one another to claim the top position. Tournament mode presents four randomly selected mini-games, with enough team score in each needed to reach The Gauntlet. My Show allows a custom sequence drawn from mini-games across 25 settings. The game includes 24 Cubee contestants with cosplay-themed appearances. Activities can involve jumping, punching, breaking, eating, explosions, and knocking teammates out of the way. Its central structure shifts between cooperation for progression and player-versus-player disruption for the final ranking.
