Our take on JUMANJI: The Video Game
Players may bounce when encounters require coordination between heroes, particularly while the team handles enemies, traps, and the task of recovering the Jewels. The focus on cooperative play may also hit a wall for someone expecting an adventure centered on an unaccompanied hero.
What is JUMANJI: The Video Game?
JUMANJI: The Video Game is a three-dimensional cooperative action title where players select one of four film characters: Dr.
Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, or Professor Shelly Oberon. Teams combine character abilities while battling wildlife, marauders, hazards, and traps across locations such as the Jungle, Mount Doom, Bizarre Bazaar, and Night Pursuit. Combat includes ranged weapons, close-quarters strikes, defensive positioning, and supernatural abilities. Local split-screen and online modes allow up to three human companions or computer-controlled allies. Players can coordinate attacks, protect teammates, and decide who handles the Jewel’s magic. Further play opens additional clothing options, weapon appearances, and other personalization items.
