Our take on Japanese School Life
The page gives substantial attention to seasonal outings and Japanese customs, while the central story remains focused on Brian's friendships with two classmates. The description does not explain how much player choice shapes those relationships or the ending.
What is Japanese School Life?
Brian begins high school in Japan and forms friendships with two classmates, who introduce him to Japanese customs and everyday school life.
The story follows him through the commuter rush and rainy season, then into summer activities such as a beach trip, festivals and Comic Market. In fall, he visits Kyoto on a school trip and helps with a cultural festival booth. Winter brings another Comic Market, New Year customs and other seasonal events as the school year approaches its end. The game includes English and Japanese text, an in-game glossary covering Japanese culture and otaku terms, and animated character presentation using e-mote. A cat-ear mode is also included.
