Our take on Jank Cube VR
The sandbox format trades structured progression for experimentation. With many objects, tools, and spaces to explore, the experience places less emphasis on authored objectives and more on players creating their own physical interactions.
What is Jank Cube VR?
Jank Cube VR is a virtual reality physics sandbox built around stacking blocks and manipulating objects.
It includes ragdolls, varied shapes, gravity controls, a remote grenade, a manipulation gun, hammers for duplicating or removing items, audio equipment, NPCs, and large cushion-like blocks. The player character uses simulated physics for vaulting, climbing, and jumping. Four main maps provide testing rooms, an auditorium, a multi-level area with an escalator and basketball hoop, and a furnished RV. Twelve concealed maps are also available. The game includes a hidden story involving hostile forces surrounding Jank Cube.
