JackQuest: The Tale of The Sword is a rapid fantasy action platform game in which Jack enters an underground stronghold to save Nara after her abduction by the orc Korg.
The interconnected cavern includes concealed areas, collectible gems, optional trials, environmental puzzles, enhancements, weapons, hostile creatures, and major bosses. Merchants offer improvements and special items in exchange for coins, including blades, ranged gear, and boots that enable higher jumps. Jack can learn techniques such as bouncing between walls, moving faster, and unleashing a windmill strike powered by a magic crystal. An added chapter takes him through Dracula’s castle, a maze populated by undead enemies, different bosses, unique artifacts, and an additional weapon.
