Our take on Island Diary
Its defining format is a kinetic story: the narrative moves along a fixed path, with no choices for the player to make.
What is Island Diary?
Island Diary follows Ryou after he washes up on a deserted island with no memory of his past.
Momo finds him and introduces the island’s other residents, Kuro and Moca, who live separately after a dispute. Guided by Momo, Ryou approaches the other two girls and works with them toward survival. The story focuses on cooperation among the castaways and their life on a green, uninhabited island. It is a kinetic story with no player choices, offering hours of reading rather than branching routes. A CG gallery collects the game’s illustrations, while a music gallery provides access to its in-game tracks.
