What is Ion Assault?
Ion Assault is an arcade space shooter built around fluid and particle physics.
Players control a spacecraft, absorb and fire ion particles, destroy asteroids, and fight enemies while working within a limited particle supply for each level. Power-ups can improve the ship, defenses, or firepower. The game includes 30 enemy types with varied attack patterns, four sectors, and more than 20 levels, with five levels in each sector and a boss guarding every sector. Its intensity rises when obstacles are destroyed quickly, sending more enemies into play. A multiplier-based scoring system supports players pursuing high scores and leaderboard positions.
