Our take on Into the Radius 2
The feature list gives equal weight to customization and survival, but weapon upkeep has direct consequences: neglected firearms can jam or fail. Co-op also begins only after the tutorial mission, despite the emphasis on playing together.
What is Into the Radius 2?
Into the Radius 2 is a VR survival shooter set in the Pechorsk Anomaly, where strange terrain, dangerous creatures, and hazards shape exploration.
Players can undertake missions alone or team up in four-player co-op; both modes share the same gameplay and story. Weapons accept replaceable components and deteriorate with use, so they need regular cleaning to reduce the risk of jams or failures. Loadouts can be arranged with carrying equipment, armor, and backpacks, and equipment appearance can be changed with paint. Hostile entities react to what they see and hear. Anomalies create threats such as electrical discharges and damaging distortion zones. The environment shifts from day to night and changes with recurring Tide events that reset locations.
