Our take on In Fear I Trust
The episodic structure limits the first purchase to the opening chapter, so continuing the story requires additional DLC or a bundle. The game concentrates on atmospheric exploration, puzzles, and investigation rather than combat-driven action.
What is In Fear I Trust?
Play as Nikolay, also called Patient #17, who wakes with partial amnesia inside a prison cell.
The first episode follows his movement through a doctor’s office and laboratory in an abandoned facility in Soviet Russia. Exploration reveals ghosts, documents, diaries, notes, and inscriptions connected to a secret experiment. Puzzles require finding key items and interpreting clues about the protagonist’s lost identity. Retrospective Mode reveals fragments of the past and hidden information in the environment. The narrative is fully voice-acted. This package includes Episode 1, The Awakening. Four of five episodes are currently available, while additional episodes require separate DLC or a bundle.
