Skip it if you…

- Players looking for online multiplayer immediately may need to wait because that feature is under development
Our take on Impact
The focus on endless survival keeps attention on combat decisions and run-by-run builds, but sacrifices a fixed campaign structure. Players looking for clearly paced missions or story-centered progression may find the repeated survival format limiting.
What is Impact?
Impact is a rogue-like survival game built around endless combat runs that continue until the character dies.
Players select a character, choose an opening weapon, and shape each run with cards, classes, special abilities, and more than 10 gameplay-influencing abilities. Different maps introduce distinct hazards, including aerial bomb drops and sandstorms. Food restores health, magnets collect experience from a distance, and an in-game merchant sells items. A shop allows customization of characters’ main hands. The vendor also describes monthly new seasons, with Fall Of Cratland as the current season. Online play with friends is under development and planned for a future release.
How Impact plays
- 01Character selection
- Players can choose from twenty characters and start with a selected weapon.
- 02Card-based builds
- Cards increase character strength and let players shape each run around selected play styles.
- 03Map-specific hazards
- Stages can add environmental events such as falling bombs or blinding sandstorms.
- 04Survival resources
- Food restores health, while a magnet gathers experience across the map from a distance.
- 05Merchant and shop
- An in-game merchant sells items, and a separate shop provides customization for characters’ main hands.
Impact compared to similar games
Impact centers on endless monster-survival runs with character, card, weapon, and map choices. Abyssus also combines multiplayer shooting with roguelite gameplay, but focuses on hand-crafted levels and weapons that can be refitted with ancient technologies.
