Our take on Idling Idol
Rather than following a fixed campaign or direct performance format, the game makes elapsed time the main management resource. Random auditions, seasonal effects, and events replace a consistent development path, so each training cycle can produce a different route toward a concert and rank.
What is Idling Idol?
Idling Idol is a time-management simulation about developing an idol group.
Name the group, select one randomly generated idol at an audition, then train and work with the group to gain fans and earn money. Random events change idol abilities and physical condition, making rest part of the schedule. Earnings can fund health items and facility upgrades. Once enough money is saved, the group holds a concert, with attendance based on its total fan count. Training covers spring, summer, autumn, and winter over one year, after which the group’s rank is based on funds earned. Development continues into another training cycle, with random appearances, stats, seasonal training effects, and events producing different outcomes.
