- Players looking for a currently available competitive player-versus-player mode may not fit the stated feature set.
Our take on Huntfeast
The bounce point arrives for players expecting competitive multiplayer: Black Moon is presented as a later update rather than a current mode. Another friction point is the cooperative structure, which centers on a hunter playing alone or with one friend rather than a larger group.
What is Huntfeast?
Huntfeast is an open-world werewolf hunting game set in Lovengrad, an abandoned forest in 1620.
Players take the role of hunters and can play alone or cooperatively with one friend. Story Mode follows the hunt’s narrative, while Open Hunt starts directly with the mission sequence. The forest contains monsters and other threats, with the werewolf as the central target. Hunters can find equipment such as silver bullets and access rifles, crossbows, and traps. Experience points, perks, skills, and companions support hunter progression. The game includes listen-server multiplayer, voice chat, and text chat. A planned PvPvE mode called Black Moon is described as a future update, with four hunters facing a player-controlled werewolf and PvE threats.
