Our take on Hunted: Kobayashi Tower
The rescue premise and terrorist threats give the game an action framing, but the core activity is managing a card row, choosing when to hide, and resolving fights with dice. Direct action is not the main form of play.
What is Hunted: Kobayashi Tower?
Hunted: Kobayashi Tower is a solo digital card game about moving through a skyscraper to rescue a hostage.
Each location is explored by adding cards to a central row. Cards can be spent to activate others, producing items or weapons, saving hostages, or advancing to the next area. Some cards increase noise, and excessive noise triggers terrorist attacks. Players can choose to hide, which clears the row but costs time, or continue while accepting greater risk. Dice determine the results of fights against terrorists and obstacles. The game ends when the player reaches the roof and completes the rescue, loses all health, or runs out of time.
