Our take on House of Cards: TD
The focus on tower defense, fusion, and chance limits the role of direct action combat. Progress also depends on collecting and strengthening heroes, so players seeking a tightly fixed tactical roster may find the structure restrictive.
What is House of Cards: TD?
House of Cards: TD is a 2D, top-down tower defense game about protecting past, present, and future eras from robots seeking to alter history.
Players position historical figures such as Imhotep, Ramses II, Socrates, and Leonidas, then combine matching characters to strengthen them. New heroes can be acquired through a gacha system, while special abilities can be unlocked and upgraded. Missions provide rewards, including gems and secret characters, as players advance through different eras. Battles include ordinary robotic enemies and bosses. The game combines defensive strategy with character fusion and chance-based systems, and uses pixel art graphics. It is available for Windows and is currently in early access.
