Our take on Roads of time
Its accessible, task-focused structure limits strategic depth: resource management and bonuses support individual objectives, but the game does not offer the complexity associated with a detailed strategy simulation.
What is Roads of time?
Roads of Time is a casual strategy adventure set in a fantasy version of ancient Egypt.
After a time-travel miscalculation, Brian and P. E. T. work to stop Anubis and his followers while restoring historic monuments, hunting for treasure, finding mysterious artifacts, and managing resources. The game includes more than 40 levels across four locations: ocean beaches, lush valleys, mystical oases, and hot savannahs. Bonuses can increase walking or working speed, upgrade buildings, support treasure hunts, and enable time travel. Enemies include Anubis’s henchmen, warrior animals, and scarabs. The game also includes comics, a tutorial, simple controls, and more than 20 hours of gameplay.
