Skip it if you…

- Players who dislike combining infiltration, direct combat, and hostage evacuation may bounce off the mission flow
Our take on Hostage: Rescue Mission
The likely bounce point arrives during the embassy approach: spotlights can expose poorly positioned team members before entry begins. Players must then manage rooftop or window access, interior combat across three floors, and hostage extraction rather than treating the mission as a direct assault.
What is Hostage: Rescue Mission?
Hostage: Rescue Mission is an action-strategy game about extracting hostages from an embassy occupied by terrorists.
The operation unfolds across four stages: position the assault force outside, enter by rappelling from the roof or using unguarded windows, search the building, and escort the hostages to safety. Terrorists occupy all three floors and must be dealt with before they can fire. Players control six assault force members and can choose from three difficulty levels. A separate training mission excludes hostages. The game combines tactical positioning, infiltration, combat, and hostage evacuation, with spotlights creating a need for cover during the initial approach.
