What is Hydrophobia: Prophecy?
This action-adventure campaign follows Kate, a systems engineer fighting terrorists aboard a floating city while confronting memories from her childhood.
Combat uses floating cover, oil fires, electricity, water, and hydro-kinetic abilities. The campaign combines combat with puzzles and platforming, leading to a final confrontation involving the tempest power and a Malthusian enemy. The setting follows a world reshaped by rising oceans, expanding deserts, famine, and conflict over water. A floating city shelters wealthy residents while the NanoCell Corporation researches a way to purify seawater. Neo-Malthusians attack the city as part of a population-reduction prophecy. The game includes more than 200 collectables, 12 achievements, and an unlockable Challenge Room.
