What is Horrors of Space?
Horrors of Space is a four-player cooperative survival horror game set aboard the Aries, where the crew awakens from cryogenic sleep during a ship emergency caused by an alien creature.
Players search the vessel for key cards to open locked areas and investigate workstations that can reroute power to the escape pods. Workstations can be accessed by forcing entry or by finding passwords hidden on the ship. Exploration also reveals items for defense, including materials that can be combined into tools, weapons, and other devices.
Each crew member has a distinct skill and one item only that character can use. The alien is controlled by artificial intelligence and reacts dynamically to its surroundings. Items, clues, and passwords are randomly generated at the start of each game.
