Our take on hoptix
Rather than centering precision challenges, combat, or repeated failure, the game treats platforming as a peaceful movement playground. Its short run is built around free roaming, personal stunt goals, alternate routes, and replaying spaces to experiment with style.
What is hoptix?
hoptix is a movement playground built around exploration, racing, and stunt-focused traversal.
Players control Rocket, a cyborg rabbit, through peaceful environments containing rollercoasters, skateparks, levels, and multiple routes. Movement options include wall jumps, double jumps, rail grinds, air dodges, and wavedashing, with the ability to stop quickly at any speed. The game has no enemies or death pits, and clearing levels is intended to be accessible for beginners. Its structure is closer to free roam or a walking simulator than a traditional platformer, with players setting personal movement challenges. A built-in GIF camera records gameplay and creates files suitable for sharing. A single playthrough lasts about an hour, while replay value comes from alternate routes and repeated movement experimentation.
