Our take on Hired 2 Die
The workplace-task structure adds planning and progression, but it also makes routine duties part of the horror loop. Players looking for uninterrupted combat or constant chase sequences may find the cleaning, organizing, and system-management work slows the pace.
What is Hired 2 Die?
Hired 2 Die is a survival horror game for solo play or cooperative teams of up to four.
Players work shifts at a strange workplace, cleaning garbage, mopping floors, and organizing areas while avoiding distortions and other dangerous creatures. Workplace systems such as CCTV, remote doors, motion sensors, security equipment, and walkie-talkies support detection, planning, and capture. Proximity voice chat allows communication between co-workers, while some systems require coordination with an instruction manual. Completed tasks contribute to future contracts, and earned pay can be spent on tool upgrades or anomalous furniture that grants perks for later jobs. The game includes a new mode and is structured differently for solo players and teams.
