Set in a fictional Taishō-era Japan, this visual novel follows two men as Aerodema enters their lives.
The disease causes the dead to return with diminished cognition, memory, and awareness, while their bodies gradually decay. Once regarded as holy beings, people with the condition have come to be shunned; it is now recognized as a medical issue. Doctor Shūhei Katori conducts field studies on Aerodema and works to improve patient living conditions and support systems. The story unfolds through the perspectives of Masamitsu Chigusa, a young doctor assisting with the studies, and Takeo Tenma, a student who has so far encountered Aerodema only as a distant problem. Their lives become entangled with the disease.
