Our take on Hexplore
The four-hero structure gives the adventure varied character roles, but it also commits the experience to managing a party rather than focusing on one protagonist. The broad map count favors a long-form journey, with less emphasis on a compact, tightly contained campaign.
What is Hexplore?
Hexplore follows four heroes opposing Garkham, a black magician seeking the Book of Hexplore.
The manuscript is linked to the Garden of Eden, where Divine Power is said to rest, placing the world at risk. The party includes a warrior, adventurer, magician, and archer, each with distinct characteristics. Players recruit and control the full group during the adventure. The game combines action and adventure across more than 200 maps. Camera movement supports 360-degree viewing, allowing the adventure to be seen from different perspectives without an accelerator card. Its setting is a medieval world, with the central journey focused on stopping Garkham from obtaining the manuscript.
