What is Hello Puppets! VR?
Play as a college reporter investigating the burned remains of a children’s television studio haunted by its former puppets.
The puppets from Mortimer’s Handeemen have come to life after a magical spell and pursue the player through the warehouse. Scout, a sarcastic sentient puppet attached to one hand, is the player’s reluctant partner. Her reactions change according to how she is treated. The game combines horror, comedy, puzzles, sudden scares, and story secrets. Puppet Mode lets the player become Scout, changing the viewpoint and opening ways to solve puzzles, escape enemies, and uncover information about the setting. The story centers on the 1986 fire that killed eight people, including the show’s creator.
