Our take on Headland
Its defining structure is a compact, approximately 4-hour story adventure that combines monster fights, exploration, weapon upgrades, and a stated ending rather than an open-ended campaign.
What is Headland?
Headland is an action-adventure game set in a colorful imaginary world threatened by the Pale Guard.
A character named Nor travels with robot companions to recover fragments of a shattered imagination core. The journey moves through meadows, caves, and castles, with encounters against imaginative monsters, residents who need help, and characters who join the story. Combat includes leveling powers, collecting blueprints, and expanding a weapon collection. Resources can be spent at the Living Forge to improve weapons. The game contains about 4 hours of story-focused gameplay with an ending, supports all ages, and includes a dedicated button for dancing. Tilt Five glasses support tabletop play with views of the diorama-like environments from different angles.
