Our take on He is Coming
The build system trades simplicity for flexibility: limited inventory space and recurring boss threats require choices that can sacrifice immediate strength or future preparedness. This makes each run depend on adapting equipment rather than following one stable setup.
What is He is Coming?
He is Coming combines roguelite role-playing with auto-battler combat.
During each run, the hero explores by day for weapons, equipment, artifacts, merchants, and ancient forges, then faces enemies at night. A new hunter appears every three days from a roster of over 30 possible bosses, requiring changes to the build and equipment choices. More than 350 items support different combinations involving armor, health, speed, attack, shields, and other effects, while limited inventory space creates tradeoffs between immediate threats and future encounters. Runs also add progress through over 100 challenges that introduce artifacts for later attempts. Kingmaker provides asynchronous multiplayer, and real-time duels let friends prepare builds and fight every three days.
