Our take on Hatch
Players who expect to fight back will hit the wall as soon as an intruder appears: attacking is forbidden. The next pressure point is entering a locker or bucket while seen, which turns that hiding attempt into a danger rather than an escape.
What is Hatch?
Hatch is a single-player, first-person horror game about a hatch that appears in the protagonist’s room.
After finding it, the protagonist is cut off from the outside world, and intruders try to kill them inside the house. The player cannot attack and must hide to survive. Enemies can hear sounds and follow the player. Lockers and buckets can serve as hiding places, but entering one while seen makes the player prey to the enemy. The game involves exploring the hatch’s mysteries, finding keys, and completing work tasks such as repairs scattered across the map. The story leads to a final choice about escaping the strange situation.
How Hatch plays

- 04Final Choice
