RPGIs Han Xiongnu Wars worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players interested in early Han Dynasty history who want exploration alongside combat
- Strategy fans who want to command formations and manage captured cities
- Role-playing players who want military advancement, trading, quests, and historical characters
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a narrowly focused combat game may find the combination of role-playing, strategy, exploration, and trading too diffuse
- Players wanting a short, linear campaign may not suit the large setting with 200 cities and multiple activity types
- Players outside China who require low-latency multiplayer may encounter network delay because the multiplayer server is in China
Our take on Han Xiongnu Wars
Its defining structure is the choice between serving within a general’s army and building an independent power by capturing cities, creating workshops, and training troops.
What is Han Xiongnu Wars?
Set during the reign of Emperor Wudi, this game combines role-playing, real-time strategy, and action gameplay across conflicts between the Han Empire, Xiongnu, kingdoms, cities, and tribes.
The world includes 200 cities representing more than 30 countries, cultures, and tribes, with over 1,000 weapons, armors, garments, buildings, and other items. Players can serve under a general, fight in battles, command formations, rise through military ranks, capture cities, establish workshops, and train troops. Other activities include trading, visiting settlements, meeting historical figures, following quests, collecting character cards, and touring places of interest.
