Instead of framing survival horror around exploring a large area or fighting threats directly, Hallways centers play on monitoring nearby corridors and rationing building power. The night has a fixed endpoint at 6am, while the vendor says events can vary between runs.
What is Hallways?
Survive until 6am while an attacker called Whiskers approaches through the surrounding hallways.
Switch on hallway lights to deter attacks, but each use draws on limited building power. When that power runs out, the lights can no longer protect the player. Use a generator to charge a laptop, then complete tasks on it to earn flashlight charges and manage the security system. Listen for clues and direct flashlight charges down different hallways to locate Whiskers. The game also includes a changing sequence of events, with the vendor describing its AI as built for varied repeated runs, as well as Easter eggs that may appear during play.
