What is Hailstorm VR?
Hailstorm VR is a multiplayer-focused sci-fi shooter for VR, with adjustable movement and match rules.
Players can walk with a thumbpad, use motion-controller movement options, and perform aerial maneuvers with a full-body locomotion system. Matches can be configured with different modes, weapon spawns, scoring, health and shields, bots, and movement styles. Weapons can be swapped, and players can carry up to 4 weapons and 4 grenades. The current version includes 3 modes—Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag—along with 8 weapons, 2 grenade types, 3 multiplayer maps, and 1 single-player mission. Players can fight bots, battle aliens in single player, or add aliens to multiplayer matches. User-created maps can be made in Unreal Editor and downloaded through Steam Workshop.
