2.. 1.. Grenades! is a local multiplayer first-person shooter framed as a snowball fight with explosives. Players can confront aliens in an adventure mode, compete against friends, or play against AI-controlled opponents. Matches center on jumping, aiming, throwing grenades, avoiding attacks, and defeating enemies. Local play supports up to 4 friends. Multiplayer modes include Deathmatch, Fallball, Tennis, Capture the Pug, Paintball, and Target Practice. More than 30 mix-and-match variants modify the action with rules and effects such as larger heads, hidden grenades, invisible avatars, slow motion, low gravity, increased speed, and bullseye-only hits. Adventure progression awards Golden Grenades for unlocking additional levels.
