Our take on Hadean Tactics
The defining structure is the split between automatic unit combat and card-based influence: the party fights on its own while cards shape its actions.
What is Hadean Tactics?
Hadean Tactics combines roguelike deckbuilding with automatic unit battles.
Recruit souls from the underworld to form a party, then use cards found during a run to influence their actions. Battles use semi-real-time combat, while units bring their own skills and alliances to combine with cards and relics. Each run follows a procedurally generated map through different areas, with bosses and events both inside and outside combat. Players can also create Heroes and decks, adjusting stats and combining skills and alliances. The game includes 3 main Heroes and 6 variants, plus 260+ cards, 34 units, 50+ monsters, 9 bosses, 20 difficulty levels, 95+ items, 45+ alliances, 140+ skills, and 40+ random events.
