N is a standalone action adventure starring undead assassin Beyond the Grave. The game follows Grave as he investigates suspicious lifeforms at a chemical plant linked to the SEED drug after South City’s distribution networks are disrupted. Combat combines third-person action with side-view stages influenced by classic side-scrollers and first-person sliding levels. Grave uses a range of attacks and abilities against waves of mutant enemies and the Orgmen. The game includes three difficulty settings: Normal, Hard, and Kick-Ass. New anime cutscenes accompany the stages, with character design guidance from Yasuhiro Nightow and the original GUNGRAVE designers at RED Entertainment.
