Our take on Grandmother
Grandmother shifts horror away from direct confrontation and toward a timed escape through a locked mansion. The pursuer's response to noise and ability to see in darkness make careful movement part of the search for exits and clues about earlier captives.
What is Grandmother?
Grandmother is a horror game about escaping an old mansion while held by a dangerous granny.
The player has five days to find a way out and investigate what happened to people who were held there before. The main entrance has several locks, the windows have metal bars, and other doors may lead to additional routes or discoveries. The captor hears well and can see in the dark, so dropping an object may draw her to its source. If she notices the player, they need to run. Finding a way out involves exploring carefully, locating hidden doors, and working out how to open the mansion's locked exits.
