Our take on Gone Rogue
Its defining structure is the preparation-to-robbery loop: information, equipment, perks, and specializations are selected before entering a location and attempting the theft.
What is Gone Rogue?
Play as a slum-born thief in a stealth-focused RPG set in an alternate Europe of the mid-20th century.
Before each heist, consult informants, select equipment, and combine abilities to determine an approach. Jobs involve bypassing elaborate defenses, opening secured entrances, avoiding adversaries, discovering hidden spaces, and moving through urban streets without detection. More than 15 sites are available to rob, with dozens of devices and gadgets for different situations. Character growth follows play style, offering over 50 perks and specializations that can lead from petty street theft to expert robbery. Hostile characters respond to the player's presence, while the dystopian plot unfolds through satire, dark comedy, overheard discussions, and glimpses of the society's concealed side.
