Our take on Tenebris: Terra Incognita
The Solaris is both the expedition's base and its only relatively safe place, tying squad recovery and ship upgrades to the resources collected on missions.
What is Tenebris: Terra Incognita?
Tenebris: Terra Incognita is a turn-based tactical RPG about a human expedition stranded on a planet occupied by hostile creatures.
Players assemble a squad and develop heroes from 5 basic classes into branches drawn from 17 advanced classes, each with its own talent trees. Weapons, armor, and special equipment can change character attributes, affect talents, or add abilities. Missions yield resources for the Solaris, the expedition’s ship and base, where players can buy gear, revive recruits from cryo-sleep, treat wounded heroes, and upgrade ship areas.
Crew members also assign tasks that can provide resources and technologies. The insect enemies coordinate through chemical signals and can strengthen and accelerate one another, so battles involve responding to the swarm as well as choosing equipment and character builds.
