Our take on Gone Golfing
The bounce point arrives when mini golf stops being a relaxed activity: enemy AI begins pursuing the player, while puzzles and escape objectives compete with the need to complete the course in few strokes.
What is Gone Golfing?
Gone Golfing combines first-person mini golf with survival horror, puzzle solving, and a story with multiple endings.
Players try to complete the course in as few strokes as possible while surviving horrors at the Cozy Cove mini golf resort. Enemies hunt the player, and progress also involves solving puzzles. The setting combines eldritch horror, comedy slasher elements, unusual golf mascots, and mutated zombie trout. An unlockable Escape Mode adds another play mode. Three DLC expansions are included: Merry Golfmas adds a map, puzzles, enemies, achievements, and a five-attempt escape rule; Golfmare adds a location, puzzles, enemies, and achievements; Gone Fishing adds a location, fishing mechanics, boat mechanics, enemies, and achievements.
