Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who prefer health-bar combat may hit a wall when damage instead pushes characters toward the edge.

- Players seeking multiplayer play may not find a fit in this single-player game.
Our take on Godfist
Players who want a stable attack sequence may bounce when activating an ability rolls the slots and determines the next attack. Those who expect enemies to be defeated through conventional damage may hit another wall: opponents must be pushed off the stage, while incoming hits also move the player toward a fall.
What is Godfist?
Godfist is a single-player first-person roguelike deck builder about climbing a tower and fighting its inhabitants.
Attacks come from three ability slots: activating an ability rolls the slots, and the ability selected becomes the next attack. Each roll costs gold, and new abilities found during a run can be added to the slots. Damage increases instability rather than reducing health; hits push the player and enemies toward the edge, and enemies must be knocked off the stage to be removed.
Barrels and exploding lanterns add hazards to fights. Enemies drop gold and experience, which can be collected for upgrades and character levels. The game includes four characters with different starting abilities and stats, and the tower is procedurally generated for each playthrough.
How Godfist plays
- 01Randomized attacks
- Using an ability triggers a slot roll, and the selected ability determines the next attack.
- 02Knockback combat
- Damage pushes both the player and enemies toward the stage edge, where a fall ends the encounter.
- 03Tower hazards
- Falling barrels and exploding lanterns can affect fights.
- 04Character selection
- Four characters have different starting abilities and stats.
- 05Run upgrades
- Enemies drop gold and experience that can be collected for purchases and character levels.
- 06Procedural tower
- The tower layout changes between playthroughs.
