Players guide Sgt. Burden and his crew through six connected chapters covering hostage situations, wilderness survival, biological-weapon prevention, and torture scenarios. Narrative puzzles and moral dilemmas force choices between the crew’s survival and the protection of others. Decisions can affect the lives of the team and the people they are sworn to protect, with no consistently good or evil option presented. The game includes more than 1,500 sprites, 15 backgrounds, and an orchestral soundtrack. After failure, players receive judgment and can compare their choices with those of other players over time.
