Our take on GNOSIA
Instead of following a linear adventure structure, GNOSIA repeats social deduction loops in which discussions, votes, role changes, and character events gradually expose the surrounding mystery. Progression comes from interpreting people and uncovering events rather than simply moving through locations.
What is GNOSIA?
GNOSIA is a science-fiction social deduction RPG aboard a drifting spacecraft where an unseen enemy is concealed within the crew.
Conversation yields clues, and group votes send suspected Gnosia into cold sleep. Each cycle can produce unique incidents, uncover parts of the story, and add discussion commands. Players choose roles and shape character abilities that influence convincing others, lying, and the chance of being chosen for cold sleep. As the crew grows, more Gnosia appear, and additional roles enter play, making the truth harder to identify. Survival may require cooperation or opposition. Randomly occurring events focused on individual characters provide special Notes containing information about fellow crewmates. Repeated loops also allow abilities to develop while the crew’s capabilities increase.
