Our take on Gnomber
The bomb-centered design narrows the combat vocabulary. That supports experimentation with explosion effects and knockback, but leaves less room for players seeking varied weapon classes or broader action-game systems.
What is Gnomber?
Gnomber is an action roguelike centered on bombs, physics, and perk combinations.
Each bomb has a different explosion and effect. Blast knockback can send enemies into walls, into one another, or into other objects, and explosions can propel projectiles. Level-ups provide perks that modify bombs; some combinations improve one bomb while weakening another. Players place bombs, lure enemies into the blast area, and select bombs and perks based on enemy weaknesses. The game also includes challenges that unlock gnomes with special powers. Survival depends on positioning, enemy movement, bomb placement, and choices made during level-ups.
How Gnomber plays

- Explosions can send enemies into walls, other enemies, and objects in the game.
