Our take on Ghostlords
Instead of centering its campaign on one hero, Ghostlords presents quests for multiple characters. Its battles also make ghost collection part of team planning, with each spirit bringing different strengths and weaknesses.
What is Ghostlords?
Ghostlords is a turn-based RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Great Britain, twenty years after an event called the Rending left many souls separated from their bodies.
Players capture wild ghosts and assemble a team to battle hostile forces. Each ghost has strengths and weaknesses, and its four abilities can include attacks, status effects, or changes to character statistics. Some attacks use energy, so combat involves choosing between immediate damage and abilities that shape a longer fight. The game follows multiple heroes, each with quests and challenges. More than fifty ghost types can be found, and capturing one makes it available in later playthroughs. Modders can alter existing content or add ghosts, characters, quests, encounters, environments, and campaigns.
