Our take on Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered
Its defining structure combines a story-led solo campaign with proton-pack ghost capture, making the same equipment central to combat and environmental puzzles.
What is Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered?
This third-person solo adventure sends the Ghostbusters through an original New York story.
Players fight monsters, capture ghosts, look for artifacts, and take on large bosses. A PKE Meter scans surroundings and artifacts, while the proton pack captures ghosts with its standard stream and experimental firing options. Those alternate settings can also be used to solve environmental puzzles; a slime tether can hurl a ghost into a trap. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson provide the characters’ voices and are depicted in the game. Aykroyd and Ramis wrote the story.
