Our take on Ghost room
The focused observation format keeps the game brief and concentrated, but that design leaves little room for branching outcomes or extended progression. The single ending and low difficulty also limit the reasons to replay it after the phenomena have been identified.
What is Ghost room?
Ghost room is a short horror game set in an apartment where supernatural events appear in sequence.
Playing as an exorcist, the player must observe the room, identify each disturbance, and apply the required response. For a discovered phenomenon, the player attaches an amulet and lights a candle at the entrance. When no phenomenon is occurring, only the candle is used. All seven events must be calmed without a mistake before escape. The game takes approximately 20 to 60 minutes to play, has one ending, and uses keyboard and mouse controls. Controllers are not supported. Its observation-focused structure is similar to The Exit 8 and I'm on Observation Duty.
