Our take on Gavis Arenarium
The defining structure is elimination by displacement: fighters can win not only through attacks, but also by forcing opponents out of the arena while map events create additional ways to be removed.
What is Gavis Arenarium?
Gavis Arenarium is a multiplayer melee action game in which players choose characters and fight across different maps.
A match ends when only one fighter remains. Players can attack opponents, knock them down, or push them out of the arena. Each map also contains events that may send players away or kill them, so hazards form part of every confrontation. The fighters are based on historically strong people from different eras, whose periods of prominence vary. Multiplayer play uses Steam. The game is currently presented as a test version. Controls include movement, jumping, running, interaction, guarding, and five attack inputs using the keyboard and mouse. An archer has an additional kick action.
