What is Galactineers?
Galactineers combines an open-world space sandbox with real-time strategy.
Players construct worlds from blocks and items, design spacecraft, establish economies, and expand stations and bases. The ship designer supports vessels for harvesting, cargo, construction, observation, and combat, using nearly 50 block materials plus hundreds of modules and stickers. Research and higher-level factories provide access to additional materials, modules, building levels, and larger ships. Exploration reveals resources, pirate nests, alien stations, arenas, and missions. Cooperative missions support solo play or groups of up to 4 players, while arenas support player-versus-player battles. Steam Workshop sharing covers ships, maps, missions, objects, texture packs, and stations. Customization also includes recipes, objects, maps, and scripted missions.
