Our take on Galactic Gallery
Its gallery format gives visual presentation priority, but leaves little room for conventional gameplay systems, progression, or challenge. The experience is centered on viewing and interacting with artworks rather than pursuing goals across a larger game structure.
What is Galactic Gallery?
Galactic Gallery presents an art exhibition in virtual reality, combining traditional paintings and sculpture with digital effects.
Visitors can explore a gallery containing more than 20 artworks by 10 artists, including Android Jones, Mars-1, Chris Dyer, Mugwort, Mear One, Xavi, Raul Casillas, Luke Brown, Amanda Sage, and Hans Haveron. The works are reinterpreted with holographic effects, layered depth, custom visual treatments, and animation intended for the virtual setting. The experience also examines new ways to create and interact with art in digital environments. Its audio design is tailored for the SUBPAC physical audio device. The exhibition was partly curated by Archival Ink Gallery.
