Our take on From Frontier
The premise foregrounds romance, the runaway princess, and frontier dangers, but gives gameplay less attention than the story setup. That makes the title's RPG identity clear while leaving its moment-to-moment structure difficult to assess from the presentation alone.
What is From Frontier?
From Frontier follows a protagonist who travels to the Lemuria Continent after an unexpected incident involving the second princess of a demon kingdom.
The princess has fled her home, and the pair enter a frontier filled with dangerous monsters, unfamiliar territory, and romantic encounters. The story centers on life in a demanding but energetic pioneer setting and the search for someone with whom the protagonist can build a future. The game presents its RPG framework through this journey and its character-driven premise, with the relationship between the protagonist and the princess forming a central part of the setup. It was developed by the Japanese independent circle Doubles Core and published by OTAKU Plan.
